Grading

Typically, a student’s final grade is calculated by the combination of the course work grade and the final examination grade. The specific course outline can be consulted regarding the applicable grading scheme. A student who attains a combined grade of:

  1. 50% or more is deemed to have passed the course.
  2. At least 45% but less than 49% is deemed to have failed the course, and qualifies for a supplemental examination.
  3. Less than 44% is deemed to have failed the course and will be required to repeat the course in its entirety.
